We all know that stocking up your FBA store is one of the not so secret tips on getting revenue and profits up. Especially during Q4 we need to have maximum products available in our stores at this time.
Since we are in the end of the 3rd Quarter we all should be thinking about 4th Quarter sales and how we can take advantage of the holiday buying season to boost our store up.
The question I get more often than not is “How do I do that?”
Well here is one of my secrets and as about 8 people found out 2 weeks ago at the ASD show in Vegas it is not that hard. In 2 days I left there with over 50 SKU’s of physical product and spend less than 15k. Many of these products were geared for the holiday buying season and some were more specific to niches I wanted to get into. But here is a secret on how to stock up fast for less than most people will spend.
When manufacturers or distributors go to these shows they ship a lot of products to the show for you to see and use to make purchasing decisions. In shows especially where UNION workers are the cost to assemble the booth, take down the booth, and ship the products back to the manufacturer or distributor is just too costly. Why? Because you have to pay a UNION employee to pack the products, to ship the products, and to disassemble the booth.
In these types of shows the people who have displays can get out of that expense by selling the booth on the last day of the show (normally a half day anyways). So they will sell the booth contents and get around the Union as we the purchaser of the goods do not have to pay the union to package and ship and can use the on presence shipping company like FedEx with out account and ship the booth back. (or if your really smart you brought your own trucks.)
Everyone wins in these cases except for the Unions YAH!!!
