How many of you have a plan for your business? A plan of who you want to be, what you want your business to look like in 30 days, 6 months, 1 year, 3 years, 5 years, 10 years? If you do not know where your going you will definitely end up where you are at.
Oct 31 last year Amazon shut off 1.5 million in revenue by taking over my best selling listing. One day the switch was turned off but I still had expenses, to pay. Did I roll over a give up? Nope I gave myself 1 day to cry to myself about it then I set off on a mission.

I developed a plan of action. I knew what I wanted my business to look like, knew what I had to do to get there, found the right people to mentor me, and in 5 months went from 80k a month to this last 30 days we are at 360k. We should hit 400k next month if not sooner and this is just the online sales, no fulfillment, prep, not even medi-health, or any other revenue services are included. It is all the stuff your learning in the FB group about RA, OA, PL, OEM,
So just to let you guys know 5 months can mean a whole lot to your business if you have a plan. A business without a plan is like a boat without a motor. It is adrift and the wind, tides, and current will push it into the rocks.
How many of you would like to learn how to develop actionable business plans? I will add to this post and give a set of steps to make the plan.

    Step 1.)
What is your WHY? You need to know why your doing this and as long as it will drive you to work longer, harder, and work when others you know are playing, skip vacations, do whatever it takes then it is a good WHY.
    Step 2.)
WHERE is the next part of the task for any of your following along. You need to know WHERE you are going. We know why, which is great but WHY without WHERE is pointless.

So yesterday we talked about the first two steps of building a business plan.
WHY and WHEN which were the core components of your plan. WHY you want to do this.(Not the mamby pamby reason you say on forums to make people think your cool, but the deep down I will kill you if you get in my way reason no one else knows because you do not want your feelings hurt.) and WHEN you want your business to end up in short and long term goals. Example 6mo goals: We will have X number of new products listed and selling online, we will have a product list of 150 potential candidates, we will have 5 new products in play, we will hire our first employee…then the same for 1yr, 3yr, 5yr, etc.

    Cool right?

Today we get to talk about the NEXT STEP…..WHEN which is kinda hard because honestly I like WHEN as the second reason, and WHERE as more of the PLACE we want to end up, after we do those steps.
I think I will change it up on you. WHERE is today’s step WHERE do you want to be in 5yrs, 10yrs? It goes by fast when your moving 1000 miles an hour.

I do WHEN all the time as my little milestones to my larger WHERE goal. If you do not know WHERE you are going then how will you get there. So think about it, 5yrs or 10yrs from know WHERE do you see yourself? Your Business? Your Relationships? Your Family status? Your Faith? If you can truly answer those questions you will start to see a picture emerge and the path for you to take becomes clearer.

And you will notice I repeat core beliefs a lot. So if you just thought “I will to be a millionaire in 5 years.” you are missing the point. That is easy, look deeper at what drives you. This is not a thrill ride at an amusement park. It will become your life, you will eat, sleep, consume, it. It is not a hobby, but a means to an end. WHERE is the end result of your hard work.

My WHERE: I want to be able to send my kids to school which my parents never were able to afford for any of their kids. Being able to retire while I am still young enough to enjoy my family, and be active. I want to be a father to my son as he grows up and teach him the difference between a real man and a boy who fathered a kid. I want to be faithful to my wife and after our kids leave let her have the R&R she deserves in the luxury she never would allow herself to have as long as the kids were in the house. And for me I want to travel in my private plane around the entire world to meet people from everywhere and drink a beer on every beach with my wife, while my business continues to make me money. I want to pay more in taxes than most people make and not care about it and to teach 1000 people how to say FU to the job and corporate America and learn the meaning of the American Dream. I want to fund a grass roots peoples party to fight against the DNC and RNC in the US and help change the laws that favor the elite and hinder the common man from rising above his or her status. I want to change the world one person at a time, live, love, and enjoy people and places and leave people a little better off than they were when I met them.

So WHERE do you want to go today?

Today I am hoping to now blow your mind a little.
Most of you already know this but maybe not really to the extent I think it takes to change your life. We are talking about changing your life not just your job.
See that is the difference between winners and wanna bee’s or also ran’s. Super Successful people allow their businesses to become part of their lifestyle. You are the sum of the people you hang around with the most.
WHO are the people you associate with?

I remember my mother saying if you hang around with bad people will think your bad too. You are guilty by association, but also your guilty because if you hang out with bad people your probably a bad person. Sorry it is true, we hear about this in the news here in the US and ACLU people call it profiling. But it is true.

Take a look at the people WHO your hang out with the most. Are they successful? Are they mentors? Or as in most cases are they people who accidentally bring your dreams down, tell you “you can’t do that!” If so then your hanging out with the wrong people.

I love my mom, but honestly she is a negative draw on my dreams and always has been. I talk to her regularly on the phone but I found that is was better for me to NEVER talk to her about my businesses. She is not the WHO’s I spend most of my time with. Same with my employees I want successful minded employees not street sweeper life has dealt me lemons so I need government assistance minded people but, strong, hard working, willing, intelligent people I can bring up with me. As a TEAM of the right WHO’s surrounding me we are growing a huge EMPIRE. Without my WHO’s it would not happen and I would be working for someone else. Waiting for the weekend when I can hang out with all the other sheep….BAAHHH BAAAHHH…

WHO your spend the most time with is really a HUGE KEY to being successful. Birds of a feather DO flock together. Thugs hang with thugs, drunks with drunks, thieves with thieves, and good people with good people and successful people only hang out with successful minded people.

What is cool is you can change it if your willing. If the WHY that I talked about burns in your heart so bad that no one will be allowed to stop you. To get away from the WHO’s who were affecting me, I moved to another city to get away from bad influences, to reinvent myself, to change. It was one of the best decisions I have ever made.

Now for the challenges with finding really successful people. Define SUCCESS in your mind. You know it, the WHY that drives you. Success is not money, or things although in the USA the TV and Wall Street say it is.
Success is an attitude, for me, it is a happy balance with family, friends, work, and faith. Someone once told me “You can choose to be happy or unhappy, but I would rather be unhappy with a pile of cash.” It sounds conceited, but studies have already shown rich people work harder, have many more challenges, their lives are not SIMPLE, but they are happier.

I do not know about you but my WHERE is the definition I have of success. What is yours?
